Homemade Lara Bars!

Well I know I know, I said I was back... I haven't been doing bad but I haven't been doing as well as i'd like to be doing! Last night was Vancouver game so of course BM pipes up and throws out "Let's have like snacks for the game!", so I made sticky wings ( 1 full cup of sugar in the sauce..) and homemade burgers. Yeah it was good, but could have done without..

BM needs to go back to work! I know I would be able to get to 150 if he was at work! Its so hard when he mentions something to eat, its like I don't even give it a moments thought should I or shouldn't I, I just agree and think that ok mine as well... One day I will get it.. but I have found that everything in moderation is good, I can have a few days of being bad and a few of being good and I seem to stay the same... but it all honesty I don't want to stay the same, I still want to lose 17 lbs....

The beginning of spring cleaning!

Well today started off yucky and rainy but turned into a nice day! I detailed our newer car this afternoon, got the shop vac out and wiped everything down! Food was kind of wacky today because I was so busy! I had a Visalus shake for breakfast and then had two small pieces of pan cookies when i was at my aunties today... I was super hungry after cleaning the car so I had a few crackers with cream cheese and then we had ravioli and tortellini with a mixture of spaghetti sauce and Alfredo sauce... Cesar salad and garlic bread... I know I said I was back but even though I didn't track today I am blogging! I will track 100% tomorrow!! Hope u have a wonderful night! I am going to read some blogs then head to bed early for some more cleaning tomorrow!!

Well Im kinda sorta back...

Hey, its been a while, its funny I used to be on here everyday more than once a day, checking to see if anyone was reading my blog or not... I was obsessed, then look at my very last post... I made a million Valentines day cookies and then I dissapeared off the face of the earth...

I think we all go through things like this, we are so into it then we decide we need a break, for the last 2 months I haven't been doing bad, but I havent been doing very well. I went on a few binge weeks... Brent is laid off of work right now so he has been home, and I know its a sad excuse but when he is home its so hard to get motivated to eat healthy! But I am back!!! I got right back up to 170!! and I promised myself I would let myself see the 7's ever again! Well I saw it and it scared me! There is no way I am letting myself gain back everything I have lost. There is no way I am going to waste all the hard work and time I have put into this! So I got back to it, back to tracking and planning and I am happy to say my WI yesterday was great! I am down to 167... I did get down to 162! But thats ok, befor I would have let myself get right back up to where I started, around 186-190 then start all over again. I feel amazing still and am still receiving many compliments. The days I was eating and eating I felt awful by the time it was bed time! I was so tired and sluggish and just felt realy guilty for what I was doing. I would eat healthy all day long and then after supper I would go to the store and buy chocolate bars, chips, and other snacks and eat until I felt sick!

But I am back at it and going to be blogging and posting pictures again! Last weekend I participated in a Zumbathon! It was a fundraiser put on by my dance instructor to raise money for our local hospital for a digital mammography! Lets just say that last year they did one and they raised around $7000, and this year we raised over $25,000!!!! It was so amazing to be part of something so special! There were so many women there to support the amazing cause! We danced and shook our booty's for 3 hours!!! It was so awesome!! We were to create teams and make team names, and dress up if you wanted to! Our team name was the Twisty Sisters and we looked amazing! We thought we were going to win best costume but unfortunatly we didnt, we lost to the Zumbies- they were dressed up as zombies haha. Here is what my team looked like!

So I am back, I will begin posting more recipes and daily food journals tomorrow!

Night Time

Ok why is it that everyday I can track 100% and feel satisfied all day long but after dinner its like I am a bottomless pit...

It's beginning to drive me nuts.. its 6:30 and I feel like I haven't even had a bit of food today! It's not like I don't eat well balance dinners, because I do! Maybe really I am not hungry I just feel I should be snacking! I don't know! This week has not been the greatest, waaay to many BTL (Bites licks and Tastes).

I always seem to do this to myself when I am losing weight. I get down to where I start to really feel good then I sabbotage myself by celebrating with food. It's like I seem to forget that the reason I was the way I was was because I ate whatever I wanted. I only have 16 pounds to lose but it seems like I am never going to get there... the scale doesnt want to seem to budge. I am so frustrated! I am just in a bad mood and feel like I could care less right now... I had to make like 50 sugar cookies for the girls Valentine's parties at school and they are seriously calling my name. I have had one today with a little frosting and that sucker cost me 3 points! I want to go eat the entire container of them right now! WHY!?!?!

Bah ok enough of me venting... here is the eats for the day...

Zumbathon!

Ah its almost seven and I am done everything. I am going to catch up on some blogs tonight and quite possibly watch a movie. I had to work today so I am looking forward to being off tomorrow. After work RB and a good friend of hers registered for a Zumbathon! It is to raise money for a Digital Mammography at our hospital! I can't wait! We made up our team name today and we are going to be called Twisty Sisters! I can't wait to get out there and get some pledges for the good cause. April 14th is the date we will be dancing for about 3 hours! Its going to be so much fun! We are going to get together and make some awesome costumes to wear! There is door prizes and prizes for best costumes! Brings out the slight competitive side in me...

Today I ate well, had the norm for breakfast but ate out today at lunch and had a yummy supper that we used to eat alll the time!

Ever say screw it?!

So the answer to my blog title... YES! Yesterday was one of those days! Well the entire day was good, I didn't snack at work, I counted everything... then as soon as I was done supper last night I could not control myself! I couldn't stop, well I could stop I just decided to say "Screw counting, Im gonna eat!!", and eat I did... here is how it all went down lol. So we had supper, I made Diet coke sloppy joes that I got from Honey, I Shrank Myself. They were yummy, sweeter but still yummy! Ok so I ate dinner, then I had desser.. 1/2 cup of 1/2 the fat ice cream, a bannana nut vitatop and 2 Tblsp of Cool Whip free... So I was still within points at this time... Then I had not one but two BIG bowls of Original Mini Wheats with 1% milk, then if that wasnt enough food I made a peanut butter and jam sandwich with real peanut butter!

I was soooo sick! OMG my stomach hurt it was so full... I binged, yes I know. I have been so good and haven't in a long time. I justified it by telling myself heck you walked around the area 21 times today, gorge yourself! Geesh what was I thinking! Oh well today was a new day and when I woke up I didn't even want to look at food haha. I knew I had to have some breakfast because I was working all day today. So my eats today have been good. RB and I walked around the arena again today but my knee is killing me! I think it's so sore because the arean floor in concrete.. I dunno just a thought.

I have realised that lately I have been excersizing about 5 times a week! I mean Zumba is for sure the best workout, but thats only twice a week, the other days RB and I walk around the arena. Even just walking for 45 minutes makes me feel awesome! I used to just come home after work and plop my butt on the couch and eat! I want to try and bump up walk days with more of a workout but not sure when... I have sooo many workout videos so maybe I will start doing some of those!

I tried two new recipes tonight, one was sort of a taco type pasta thing.. and the other I got from a really awesome blog I have been reading, Loser for Life- gave me this awesome idea! Breadcrumb cheese baked Zuchinni! It was sooo yumy and sooooo filling!! I will post the recipe.. I couldnt find one on her blog so I looked at her picture of it and kinda guessed how it went, except I added a little pizza sauce on top when they were done baking.

Recipes
 Taco Baked Pasta
1 pound  extra lean ground chicken (I used Jenny O) 13
1 package reduced sodium taco seasoning mix 3
1 15 oz can tomato sauce 2
3 cups (8 oz) rotini, cooked and drained 14 (200 grams raw)
1 cup reduced fat Weight Watchers Mexican cheese 6
½ cup reduced fat sour cream 2
40 points for entire thing 5 servings equals 8 pts per serving

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground chicken. Stir in seasoning mix and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Combine cooked pasta, ½ cup of the cheese and the sour cream and place on the bottom of a 6 X 10 baking dish. Top with meat mixture and remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.

Breaded Cheesy Zuchinni
I took one Zuchinni and cut it in half, scooped out just enough seeds to place cheese string in a divit. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and RF parmesan cheese. Baked at 350 for about half an hour. Broiled them for about 30 seconds until brown and bubble and delicious!

Weigh In...

Well ok so last week I was down 4! this week a measly .2.... I mean yes its down and not up, but come on not even a full 1! I realize that its going to slow down, but I still need to lose 18 pounds! Oh well, back at it... TOMORROW lol. Didn't really cheat like I did last week, had a few bits of the cupcakes, they were meh... didnt really hit the spot. I love food more.. I was going to go to Subway and get a nice footlong with bacon but meh I didn't. So I had a sandwich at home, didn't count points all day but didn't eat to bad. Just kinda had bites of this and that. Went up to a nice coffee shop with Aunt and had a yummy chai latte and a healthy cookie, well a peice of it and a half of a cream cheese raspberry chocolate chip muffin. Cookie was also meh (word of the day i guess) not enough sugar in it or something it was very blan. So all in all not a bad cheat day...

On to other things, got a call from twins school... long story short, I am very dissapointed and honestly overwhelmed... at home I have very well behaved kids, at daycare they are awesome, but apparantly at birthday parties and school they do not listen. They scream and yell and act out in ways I don't even want to write! What is going on!?!?!?! So for the afternoon I spent a lot of time crying and feeling defeated and just overwhelmed... had a very long talk with both of them and hopefully it helps or sinks in...

I have my meals planned for tomorrow already so Ill be back at it tomorrow! Trying somethig new tomorrow that I found on a fellow blogger. I will share tomorrow!

Bad food day...

Woke up early and took the girls to school, then headed to the States with my Grandma for grocery shopping! Found some realy good eats today and I can't wait to share them all with you as I eat them! When I say bad food day, I don't mean I ate a lof of bad stuff but I didn't really eat much of anything today... Befor we left I had a Fiber One granola bar and then we didn't get home till around 1:30 and by the time I was done unpacking everything it was 2:15 ish. Then the girls got home and we did homework and it was 3:30 when all that was done... I wasn't even really that hungry... weird I know. So I just ate my leftover piece of dijon dill chicken. I am just waiting to go to Zumba then for dinner I am having something small, Veggie burger in a wrap with some side veggies... I know boring right! But it is weigh in day tomorrow so I am trying to keep my last meal's sodium level down and not having something to heavy. I know it's bad to be under points but I don't want to go overboard right befor weigh in tomorrow. I am just not feeling it as it is for tomorrow...

I will be back tomorrow with more and better eats, in fact it is cheat day and I did stop at the cupcake shop in Colville today.... yum!

Blah...

Today was good all day, I had a lot of energy, first say of Wearing my new pedmoter, but now I am sooo snacky its driving me nuts! Honestly thank goodness for this blog or I wouldn't be able to control myself!

So let's start with my new pedometer- OMRON GO smart, I love this little thing. It is small and I just clipped it right onto my pants. I wore it as soon as I got dressed and am still wearing it now. Kept looking at it all day to see what was going on, it made me try and walk around more at work! I love this thing! RB and I went walking after work and so far my total steps are 9901, burning 273 calories. I am soooo curious to see how many calories burned when I wear it to Zumba tomorrow!


So in yesterday's post I mentioned I did the Bob Harper yoga workout... ya well lets just say I could barely get out of bed this morning! Places hurt I didn't know could hurt! It lets me know I worked hard though, which is a great feeling!

BM left to go back to work today, he will be home in 15 more sleeps haha. I miss him a lot, the first day is always the hardest, but it gets easier and easier as the days go by. Girls really miss him to, they know exactly how many sleeps are left till daddy's home.

Just finished watching the Bachelor, ok its time for Courtenay to go home!!! BOO! I really don't like her. I think she is showing the girls her real side and showing Ben the fake side of her. I hope he sees it soon!

Recipe

Chicken and Broccoli Laughing Cow Alfredo- I changed things around but idea came from Lorrie;s To-Do blog 
SAUCE:4 wedge The Laughing Cow Light Creamy Garlic and Herb
1/2 cup 1 % low-fat milk
1 Tbsp. reduced fat parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. Yogurt Butter
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast, cubed (I did not add chicken to mine)
1/2 cup cooked broccoli
4 oz. whole wheat fettuccine ( I used an entire box on catelli smart taste spaghetti to make more servings)

Cut chicken into cubes. Spray skillet with canola oil cooking spray. Add cubed chicken to skillet and cook until done. Set aside.
Cook fettuccine according to package direction.
In a medium-sized saucepan, combine sauce ingredients over low heat until everything is melted and the sauce is velvety smooth, about 20 minutes. Serve immediately over the hot cooked fettuccine (or spaghetti).

I heart Bob!

So Sundays are the one day a week we all get to sleep in! We slept today till about 9:30! Felt amazing! I woke up not very hungry and kind of layed around for an hour or so. BM wanted to hit the gym today, and take the girls swiming, so I decided I would try a Biggest Loser workout video I have. It was the Bob Harber Yoga Weightloss! Ok I remember trying yoga when I think I was probably in grade 10. I remember it being boring and just not for me. So I decided heck I'll give it another shot. I pulled out my pretty purple yoga mat I bought a few years ago that was collecting dust and put it in. Let me tell you! What a great workout! It wasn't easy by any means but it felt good to be pushed and to do something different than what I have been doing. It honestly kicked my but! I was shaking and sweating and could feel every part of my body working! When it was time for cool down and stretch it was such a great feeling to have completed the entire workout (about an hour). I will definetly be doing that workout again!

As soon as I was done working out I realised it was noon and I hadn't eaten breakfast!! Not good! So I ate a bannana to put something in my stomache. I am going to wait till BM and the girls get home from the pool to make up some lunch for all of us. I am going to make some pita pizza's. The family
looooves pizza!

For dinner I tried another new recipe. We had dijon-dill chicken in foil packets.

Well supper was a success, girls and BM really liked it. But even after my dessert, I sliced half a bannana, threw it in with crumbled cookies, vanilla yogurt and some cool whip, I am still feeling very munchy!! This makes me nervous, because it's so hard for me to control myself when I feel like this. I open the cupboard a million times then I usualy cave in and eat anything I can get into my mouth in a two minute span... Wish me luck, I am going to catch up on some blog reading and hopefully that will distract me...

RECIPE- I found this on the Weight Watchers Website
Mustard-Dill Chicken in Foil Packs (Freezer-friendly)1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup plain fat-free yogurt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 Tbsp dried dill weed(can use fresh dill weed)
1 pound uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast, four 4 oz pieces
Preheat oven to 350°F.Combine mustard, yogurt, garlic salt and dill in a small bowl; thoroughly coat chicken with mustard sauce. Tear off 4 sheets of aluminum foil that are large enough to wrap each chicken breast individually. Place a prepared chicken breast on each piece of foil; gather foil loosely around chicken and fold over to seal.Place foil packs on a nonstick baking sheet; bake for 20 minutes. Using oven mitts and keeping your face away from steam, open foil. Broil chicken on foil until lightly browned and cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes more.
Yields 1 piece of chicken per serving at 3 points each.

I think I found the best thing ever!

Today was just like any other day, had to work today... Nothing else really happened today. When I got home from work BM and I took the girls to get there bangs trimmed, after that we went shopping for a few things and boy was I starrrving!!! That is the worst time for me to be in the vacinity of anything you can buy food wise. I will buy anything that looks good and screw up my points that way. I stayed on track and bought only what we needed. Then we went to another store because I wanted to get some of these
These are soooo yummy! And you get 8 good sized wedges for only 2 points!!! I also bought the sweet potatoe ones and cooked 6 of them and tried one and didn't like them. To sweet for me.

Ok so I was starving, BM loves him some chips, so of course the aisle I bought the potatoes.... right behind us was the chips! Go figure! He loves the Kettle brand honey dijon chips. I also love these. So I saw the baked ones hickory and smoked bbq, and I turned it over and for 30-33 chips its 3 points!!!! Let me tell you they are sooooo dang good!!!!

I managed to get out of the store befor I wandered to the deli and got some japanese salad that I love so much! So all in all I did good! I am going to look in the states to see if they have any other flavours to try of those chips too!

RECIPE
Ranch burger

1 lb Extra lean ground beef
1 package hidden valley ranch dressing
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup egg beaters
Salt and Pepper to taste

Preheat pan with non stick spray
Mix all ingredients together and score into four equal patties
Form into patties
Fry until done to your desired doneness (is that a word I dunno!?!)

Back at it!

Today was a good day! Stayed OP all day! Made a new recipe that I got from a fellow blogger TJ's Test Kitchen. Her's were a lot prettier than mine.. but they were delicious!! I will post a pic after. RB and I went right after work to the arena for our walk. We weren't walking as fast as we usually do so we only did 10 laps instead of 14... but was still nice to get in a walk! My aunt took me for a walk yesterday by a small airport, there was a lot of snow but it was a nice 45 minute walk outside! I brough Luna (my dog) and she loved it! When Aunty gets her snowshoes I think we are going to try that! Love trying new things!











So at work right now we have a competition going on, the branch is divided into two teams, and team A (not my team) is in the lead for this week. Each week the team that did the best that week gets a treat. Well today team B got to pick something they want from McDonalds. Now I don't eat a lot of McDonald's but I must say, when you are losing weight and eating healthy, that smell is so enticing! And never mind one girl standing in eye view mowing down her McChicken while you are waiting on members! I was hungry, and the smell and the visulization and hearing mmmmm this is soooo good, really set me off. I was mad. Don't be rude. Then RB made a good point, they are putting that on and in there body and we are taking it off! I would rather take it off! Do you have anything that urks you when someone does something food related???

Kinda sorta back at it....

Well, I have posted befor that Wednesday weigh ins are my cheat days... Well i did really wel yesterday... but then night time hit and I had 5(ya 5!!) peices of pizza and a cupcake from the local bakery... I felt awful after I ate it and I will never do it again! Tonight the entire family is going out for my Grandma's birthday, we are going to a local chinese food restaurant. My plan is to have 4 steamed pork dumplings and a cup of won top soup and some steamed veggies... we will see how that goes. I was 167 yesterday and I weighed myself this morning and I was right back up to 171... yikes!!! My goal this time BM was home was to track everything and stay completely OP while he was home... guess I failed at that... but usually I would say ok screw the rest of the week.. but not this time! I wil do this!

Weigh In and Other Stuff!!!

WOW!!! So much to blog about! I am now back from Calgary! What an amazing trip! Got to meet my bestest friends baby Giovanni! I just love him! So precious! Probably the cutest baby I have ever seen! It was soooo nice to catch up with SP as well, we have been best friends since middle school and will be BFFs for the rest of our lives. We have a special kind of bond, we can go weeks without talking(not that we ever do) and always know we are always there for one another. So it was so nice to meet her new little man and spend some good time together!

I feel like I have so much to write about that I don't even know where to start!! Being away for two days, I was worried about eating and what the scale was going to say today... I am not going to tell you how the scale was yet..

SP and her husband are also doing WW! So I was so happy that when we were home I knew I would be OP! I cooked them supper both nights I was there. The first night we had chicken tenders coated in a ranch packet and 1/3 cup of bread crumbs. The second night I made delicious pita pizza's! YUM! For breakfasts I had oatmeal with brown sugar and half a bananna. Ok so the day I was there for a full day, we went shopping at a realllly nice mall... It was about 1:30 and we were starving, so we headed to the food court... WOW soo much yummy food! So many yummy smells! I had a NSV, we went to subway, now usually when I go to Subway I get a foot long melt, on cheese bread, lots and lots of mayo and ranch! BUT! I got a 6" turkey breast on whole wheat with lots of veggies, a tiny bit of light mayo and mustard! All that for only 7 points! I was so proud that for one I was starving and didn't throw in the towel and tell myself "Hey your on vacation, eat whatever you want" and second that the smells of the other choices didn't make me wonder somewhere else! I was soooo proud!

So like I said we were shopping, I wanted to try on some clothes, and my GF is awesome to shop with, she makes me try things on that I would never think to try on... AND she was like there is no way that you are a large in size anymore... another NSV! I was like ok... Ill try a medium... and guess what! IT FIT! I can't tell you the last time I ever bought something in that size... probably never, because as a child I always wore L too! I was sooo happy!!

Ok so tracking all week and also tracking perfectly the three days I was away from my home eating, it was time to weigh in this morning.... I couldn't beleive it! Down 4 lbs!!!!!!! I was 171 last week this week I am at 167! I think the last time I weighed this was in middle school... I am sooo happy!!! Tracking and staying OP pays off! WW works and I love it! I also must say while I was there I ate a lot of fruit and kind of tried the new PointsPlus because that is what they are doing... and maybe thats why my number was soo good? Maybe I wil have to try it out... MAYBE!

Back at it today, BM and I were going to go skiing today but when we woke up it was raining cats and dogs so we opted out and were gonna hang out today and get some errands done. Yes it is cheat day... and BM is home so I don't know what I am going to do. I think I am going to do what I did last week, track all day and then at supper have one thing that is a splurge but still try and stay within points for the day!

So glad to be back! I will start posting recipes and pictures again! So happy to see more people checking out my blog! WW rocks!!!

Arrived!

Yay finally in Calgary with my BFF SP!! She has begun her WW journey last week so we are counting away while I am here! Dinner tonight is going to be ranch chicken fingers mmm can't wait! We went for a beautiful walk today at the dog park and there was the most beautiful view of calgary. I will take a picture tomorrow to show you all! Short post because I have to get back to holding that darn cute baby!!

2 more sleeps!!!

Two more sleeps and I will be flying to Calgary to see my bestest friend and meet her baby!!! I cant hardly wait can ya tell!?!?! I am very nervous to fly but it will sooooo be worth it!

Today was another meh day, very busy at work today so that went by fast, stayed within my points but weighed myself this morning and I was up 2.8 lbs!?!?!? How the F does that work!! I feel like no one reads my blog!? Am i wasting my time?? I feel like I am doing this to be accountable but accountable to who??? Just need to get some motivation back... I always do this, at the very beginning I am so determined and then I slowly dwindle off, but I will not allow it! I will stay on track and DO THIS! SP started WW on tuesday so when I go to Calgary I should be able to stay OP because we will be doing it together while I am there. I wish the scale was my friend, I wish it showed me something better and maybe I would be more excited... or maybe I should just not weigh myself until Wednesday when it's my weigh in day... I am sure I will weigh myself tomorrow and hopefully it will show me something better.

RB and I took the girls up the the winter carnival tonight to the parade. They had hot chocolate and I had a large skim milk latte with sugar free caramel syrup.. it was good but not sure how many points it would be. Pretty sure 0 for the syrup, but not sure how much milk they use?? We walked around for a while befor the parade started, it was so cold up there but the girls enjoyed it. There were really cool fire dancers in the parade too. The girls got some candies... I had one werthers original and a mint chewy thing, shouldnt have but I did... oh well tomorrow is another day!

Pizza Cups

Well another day done, tracked everything today, feeling under the weather so I didn't have much of an appetite today but I made sure to eat.

I am doing ok.. not great but ok, I get into weird moods somedays, I feel like will I ever be where I want to be, will I ever feel completely happy with mysefl??? There are still so many areas of my body I am unhappy with. For one I would never wear a shirt that shows off my arms, I have a lot of excess skin and its just grosse... I am just having one of those days. I want to throw in the towel and say forget it and just eat everything in sight, but I know I will regret it in the morning. Blogging is keeping me accountable. I write everything I eat and share it with you all ( if you are anyone??) and I couldn't bare to write down the things I ate if I would binge, it would be scary so maybe that will help me....

Just a rough day, probably because Im sick again today, get off the pitty potty I know.. hopefully tomorrow is better day..

RECIPE

Pizza Cups

1 can 10 pack Pillsbury biscuits

1 1/4 c. pizza sauce

5 oz. reduced-fat mozzarella cheese

1/4 c. onions, chopped

1/4 c. green bell pepper, chopped

20 slices turkey pepperoni

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray muffin pan with Pam. Flatten biscuits between palms. Pat onto bottom and up sides of muffin pan. Spoon 2 Tbsp. pizza sauce into each cup. Sprinkle onions and green peppers into each cup. Sprinkle the tops with cheese(I used 1/3c between three pizza cups) Bake for 15 minutes or until biscuits are brown and cheese is bubbly.

Weigh In

Well like I said all week I have been up.... BUT I weighed in today and I am down to 170, so down 1.6 lbs from last week! YAAAYYYY.

My brother and I went to the States today for grocery shopping, I got lots of stuff for my meals for the week!

Yeahhhh and I cheated today, usually I do, but usually I go all out all day long, today I had a delicious cupcake from this little cupcake shop in the town we went to for groceries. And for supper the girls and I had breakfast! I didn't really splurge on anything except for the bacon mmm real bacon how I love you! We had heartsmart bisquick pancakes with blueberries, simply potatoes shredded hashbrowns, and srambled eggs. It was very yummy and I don't feel I cheated as I usually do! So thats good!

Back on track tomorrow! Looking forward to it!!

Swollen..

I have been weighing myself everyday for the past three days and I am not down at all from last week, this morning I am up almost 1 lb... I notice in my rings, normally they feel like they are going to fall off but this last week they are tight, I am hoping its just water weight from TOM... I have tracked everything all week and been completely OP! Tomorrow will be the official WI and then I'm moving on!

Went and had the best massage this morning, I have been getting a lot of headaches this past week and I layed down on the massage table and she pressed on my shoulder blade and her hand practically slid off a knot in my back and she says "Well there's your headache", I feel much better now, so hopefully the headaches will subside for a while. I am looking forward to grocery shop in the States tomorrow on my day off! I am running low on some snack stuff for the girls for school and some staples for myself.

I have my meals all planned for the week, so I go through ever meal and make my grocery list from there so I don't have to run out on my work days to pick up things for supper. I said befor, my key to success is PLANNING, yes it takes some time and energy, but it pays off in the long run. When i get home from work I don't have to think about what am I gonna make? I know and I do it.

I am going to guzzle down water water and more water to hopefully get rid of some of this salt my body is holding onto!

Crockpot Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti For 6 servings 7pts each
16 oz. dry spaghetti, cooked
6 slices of American Cheese
12.5 oz can chicken breast, drained & flaked
1 can 98% FF cream of mushroom soup
1 can 98% FF cream of chicken soup
10 oz. can diced tomatoes & green chilies (Rotel)
4 oz can mushroom stems & pieces, drained or fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup water
1 small onion, diced
1 med. green pepper, diced
salt & pepper to taste
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and stir to mix well. Cook on LOW for 2-3 hours. Stir again

Any way to get in Excersize

We finally got a dump of snow here, the girls got new sleds for Christmas and we haven't got to use them yet! So last night they asked "Do you have to work again tomorrow?", and finally I could say nope I have tomorrow off. So we went tobogganing today! It was so much fun! The girls love it and it's a great way to get in some fun excersize! The hill we go to is two minutes away from our house! The hill is big so going up is a challenge, but feels good to have with them and burn some calories!

Since our huge snow dump I haven't shoveled yet! We don't have a shovel so I went out today after tobogganing and bought one from CND Tire. I ripped through the heavy snow in about 15 minutes! Another great way to burn some calories. I have a feeling my arms are going to feel it tomorrow!

This week I am going to try to excersize at least an hour per day. Tuesday and Wednesdays are easy because RB and I do Zumba, and Mondays Thursdays and Fridays we walk around the arena for half an hour. So to get in an extra half hour I am going try some of my Biggest Loser workout videos I have, or play Just Dance or Zumba for Wii with the girls! Looking forward to it! I am thinking this weeks WI won't be to great because TOM is here! I feel swollen and bloated so we will see. Ill try to drink extra water these next few days but it's ok, if I don't see a good number I will not let it ruin my determination!

Back to work tomorrow then two off in a row! YIPEEE! Going for my massage on Tuesday and I can't wait! Trying a new recipe tonight because all of our leftovers are gone, besides one more bowl of Green Pepper soup! I told you it made A LOT!!

Recipe

Corn Dog Casserole

1/4 cup diced sweet onion

1 (8 pack) Ballpark Fat Free Hot Dogs

14 oz  Turkey Chili

1 (8.5 oz.) Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix

1 egg white

1/2 cup skim milk

1/4 cup water

1/4 tsp. black pepper

½ cup shredded low moisture part skim milk mozzarella

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray skillet with butter flavor cooking spray. Saute onion for 5 minutes. Slice hot dogs into thin discs and add to skillet. Cook over med-high heat for 5-7 minutes. Add turkey chili and heat through. Spray 11 X 7 pan with cooking spray. Pour skillet contents into pan. Top with cheese. Combine muffin mix, egg white, milk, water, and pepper; pour over hot dog mixture. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.

SO MUCH SNOW!

Wow well we have been hearing for a while now that we were supposed to get some snow, and we sure did today! Its a winter wonderland out there! Hopefully it stays till Sunday so we can go toboganing! The girls got new sleds for Christmas and we haven't got to use them yet! I love tobogganing! Its fun and its a great way to get in more excersize! Speaking of excersize...RB and I went for another walk today around the arena! It was busy in there tonight cause there was a hockey game going on. When we got home we ate and hung out for a bit then the girls and I went downstairs to try my Zumba for WII! WOW!!!! Sooo much fun!! I loved it and boy is it a workout! I didnt do it for long because the girls wanted to play Just Dance! So I did three songs and worked up a sweat and then we played Just Dance for WII for about an hour! We were all sweaty and hot so we called it quits and now we are going to enjoy our favourite show! Grey's Anatomy that I have PVRd from Thursday night.

I did not make Taco Junk tonight because I had to use up some leftovers! I will probably be having some more soup tomorrow as well. I have to work tomorrow then after work I will be prepping a fruit tray and heading out for a ladies night! So needless to say I won't really have time to make a new recipe for supper tomorrow.

Unstuffed Pepper Soup

YUM! I made this soup today in the crock pot so it was ready when I got home from work and wow! So yummy and very WW friendly! It makes ALOT though!

Unstuffed Green Pepper Soup

1 Lb. Extra Lean Ground Turkey, cooked
2 (14.5 oz.) Cans Diced Tomatoes seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano
2 (10.5 oz.) Cans Chicken Broth
1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Bell Peppers, chopped
2 (10 3/4 oz.) Cans Condensed Tomato Soup
2 Cups Cooked Brown Rice(I used the 90 second packages)
Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Inside the crockpot, Combine the cooked beef, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, onion, bell peppers and tomato soup. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Warm up the rice, stir it into the soup and serve.

Weigh In

Well I think I told you all that I weigh myself all the time! I weighed myself on Sunday when BM was home, and after 4 days of being not on track I was back up to my original weight... so I went for it for the last few days and I am happy to say I am down .8! I am really happy with that loss this week!

Now Wednesdays are usually my no track day.. but I felt good today and stayed OP all day! YAY for me! I tried another recipe tonight for diner and mmmmm soo good and the twins LOVED it! Definetly making it again, it was Bean Burrito casserole. I have my weekly meal plan that I posted a few days ago and so far I have made the meatloaf and the bean burrito casserole. Now since BM isn't home I have sooo many leftovers in my fridge! So I may have to have a night of just some leftovers. They are great for lunch but I dont usually like to have a lot of points for my lunches, I like to save more points for supper time. So we'll see. I might have meatloaf another two days and spruce that up by putting it on a sandwich and toasting it in my George Foreman ( I got the idea of using George Foreman as a panini grill from TJs Test Kitchen!)

RECIPE


Bean Burrito Casserole
1 pound lean ground beef
1 packet reduced sodium taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
14 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
5 oz. tomato paste
15 oz fat free refried beans
1 cups low moisture part skim mozzarella
2 cups cooked brown rice
Dice onion and saute in a large skillet with ground beef. Add water and 1/2 packet of taco seasoning. simmer until sauce thickens. Add canned veggies, tomato paste, and beans. Spray casserole dish and fill with mixture. Top with 1/3 cup of shredded cheese. Cover with cooked brown rice. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake covered at 350 degrees until heated through for 20 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking until cheese is melty about 5 minutes.

Another Day, Another Recipe

Well another day on track! I had a really good day off today! Brought one of the twins to the dentist this morning. In the sumer we were on a walk and she picked up a rock and it hit her tooth and chipped her front tooth(other twin did the same thing but twirling around a pole). So we were at the dentist today for about an hour and a half getting a filling put on her front tooth. She did really well. I get more nervous for them than they are. After her dentist appointment I brought her to school, went home for about half an hour and calculated the points for tonights supper, then went and got my hair did!

For Christmas BM got me a gift certificate to get my hair done! I had no idea what I was going in for, all I knew was that I wanted a change! I LOVE my long hair but I was getting bored with the plain dark brown hair colour. My hairdresser is amazing! It's actually my good friend RB's sister! Well anyways, she asked me what I wanted when I got there and I said no clue do whatever you want! So she ended up putting some caramel highlights in and just lightened it up a bit. Not a huge change in cut, just a trim and she reshaped my bangs! I LOVE it!

I thought I would blog now because RB and I have ZUMBA tonight! Then when I get home it's Biggest Loser night as well as Teen Mom(remember when I said I loved reality TV!) so I will want to watch that when I get home because I don't get home until about 8:15. I will just update my snacks throughout the night While I go to Zumba I drop the girls off at the swimming pool for about an hour!

Today was another great day of tracking! I had leftovers from last nights supper for lunch today and just added a few things to make it a meal! I bought the Southwest Ranch Special K chips from the states when I was last there and let me tell you! YUM! You get about 27 chips for only 2 points! By the way when I say points I do not do PointsPlus. The old way has worked for me so that's what I stick to. Feel free to calculate points according to PointsPlus if you would like!

PIZZA MEATLOAF

1/2  cup of pizza sauce, divided

1 lb extra lean ground beef

1/2 cup of onion

1 tsp dried italian seasoning

1 tsp wocestershire sauce

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup liquid eggs

1/2 cup low moisture part skim mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup diced red bell pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Combine all ingredients, excpet 1/4 cup of pizza sauce and mozza.

Place in loaf pan or shape into loaf and cook on baking sheet for 1 hr. Take out of oven and top with remaining pizza sauce and mozza. Cook another 5 minutes. Take out of oven and let sit for 5 minutes befor cutting!

4 servings is 6 pts each

Below is my big bowl of salad I prepare for the week. Makes it a lot easier to grab a handful of salad with each meal than preparing a salad every meal.
